NREMT/ADA Accommodations Policies
https://www.nremt.org/rwd/public/document/policy-accommodations
We encourage everyone to pursue their EMS education wishes but before undertaking any EMS course you should ask about the physical and mental requirements to not only pass the course and take the National exams but to know what will be expected of you once certified. Strong reading comprehension and lifting ability are two major components of class and being an EMS technician. You should speak with your medical provider about the requirements and to complete any paperwork necessary should you wish to request testing accommodations. This link provides helpful information and the application as well.
